Common questions & answers

What is the difference between raw honey and regular honey?

Raw honey is untreated and contains all natural enzymes, vitamins, and antioxidants. Commercial honey is often heated and filtered, which can reduce its nutritional value. Organic honey also ensures that the bees and flowers have not been exposed to harmful chemicals.

Why does honey crystallize, and is it a sign of poor quality?

Crystallization is a natural sign of real honey. It doesn't mean that the honey is bad, but rather that it is raw and unfiltered. To make the honey liquid again, place the jar in a lukewarm water bath.

What types of honey do you sell?

We offer several exclusive and organic honey varieties from different parts of the world:

What is Sidr honey and why is it so special?

Sidr honey is produced by bees that exclusively visit the Sidr tree (Ziziphus spina-christi) in the mountainous regions of Yemen. It is known for its rich, complex flavor and has been used in traditional medicine for over a thousand years. Studies show that Sidr honey contains high levels of antioxidants and antimicrobial substances.

What is the difference between Sidr honey and Manuka honey?

Both are considered premium honeys with documented properties, but they come from completely different regions and plants. Sidr comes from Yemen and the Middle East; Manuka from New Zealand. Sidr has a more complex, caramel-like flavor while Manuka is earthier. Many studies show that Sidr performs similarly to or better than Manuka on several parameters.

Is your honey 100% natural and free from additives?

Yes. All the honey we sell is unprocessed, unfiltered, and additive-free.

How should I store my honey?

Store honey at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration is not necessary and not recommended – cold temperatures accelerate crystallization. Properly stored honey has an almost indefinite shelf life.
